Gravity Destoner

Equipment Description

This gravity destoning machine uses SUS-304 stainless steel for both its plates and pipes. It cleans products using gravity. Products fall into the destoning machine's trough and are agitated by the bottom spiral rollers, causing them to tumble and swirl. Dirt and sand are washed away by gravity and fall into the bottom collection hopper. Larger stones are carried out by the side elevator, while smaller gravel is periodically discharged from the drain. As the products move forward through the rollers, they are tumbled and cleaned. High-pressure spray at the top of the rollers removes any remaining dirt and sand. The cleaned potatoes are then lifted out of the trough by a conveyor belt and fall into subsequent equipment.

Equipment Description

This hydraulic cutting system uses a high-efficiency centrifugal water pump to pump potatoes. The pump draws potatoes from the temporary storage tank, and through a conical tube and guide, the potatoes are axially conveyed to the water jet module. The potatoes are cut into square strips by water jets arranged in a grid pattern. The potato strips are then carried by the water flow through a funnel-shaped transmission port to the dewatering conveyor. The bottom collection hopper of the dewatering conveyor transports the starch mixture to the filtering tank. The filtered water flows back to the potato temporary storage tank and is pumped out again. A pneumatic gate valve is installed at the bottom of the filtering tank to periodically discharge starch, debris, and other sediments from the filtering tank.

The machine uses a pump to deliver the pre-mixed slurry from the mixing tank to the slurry coating system, which is installed above the impregnation tank and combined with a pressure belt.
